You should share all the details about the current condition of your vehicle with your insurer.
Your insurer will analyze and inform you whether any physical inspection of the car is required or not. Inspection is required if –
The policy has expired, or
Any addition made to the car that you need to insure, for example, a newly installed CNG kit
If a check-up is required, the insurer will ask for an appointment at your convenience.
You must coordinate with the inspection inspector and provide them with your car insurance documents.
After the inspection, the insurer will share the premium amount and you will have to pay the renewal premium amount.
After payment, you will receive all the policy papers from your insurer.
If you want to change your insurer at the time of renewal, you can contact your preferred insurer before the policy expires.
